Cross Country
Mrs Rankin, one of our very valued learning assistants, leads the cross country club which takes place on Tuesday afternoons. Both Primary 5 and Primary 6 are involved in this after school club.
The children are put through their paces to improve their stamina when running for longer distances. This, in turn, helps with their general fitness levels
There are various cross country events throughout the school year in which all schools from West Dubartonshire participate. St. Mary's achieve well in this event, thanks to the excellent training the pupils receive. Perhaps St. Mary's will produce a future Mo Farah?
West Dunbartonshire Schools Cross Country Relay Championships will take place on Friday 12th May 2017 at Balloch Park.
